1940s wide leather belt | lifesavers novelty belt | xs small medium
Completely amazing 1940's novelty belt! Done in a forest green leather with heavy brass buckle. Round Lifesavers as well as felt "Lifesaver" appliques were hand painted and stapled with the tiniest staples! Widest part at the front is 3" and the widest part at the back is 1.75"
*Lifesavers were invented in 1912 and the "Five Flavors" roll was introduced in 1935 and it remained untouched for almost 70 years.

Condition: Very Good Vintage: some minor tarnishing to the buckle, some of the green has worn off on the end of belt. The lifesaver appliques are worn, but give this so much character!
