1930s SILVER metal lame metallic two piece slip and dress small | new fall
1930's work of art! Done in a heavy silver lame metallic brocade. This lovely dress comes in two pieces which can be worn separately or together. The top piece is done fully in the liquid silver lame with rosettes at the square collar. Curved waistline. It has open cap sleeves back covered buttons, and horizontally pleats at the back hips with small ruffled train. Completely open below the buttons. The underlayer dress is done in ivory silk charmeuse with metallic long sleeves. This slips over the head with back keyhole opening and snap and side snaps. The charmeuse peeks out of the top layer at the back.
Size on tag: None
Fits like: S
Material: silver lame/silk charmeuse
Condition: Very Good Vintage: Tarnishing near hem of lame layer and two tiny holes near the bottom. The silk charmeuse layer would do well with a dry clean since there are a few discolorations. There is also some tarnishing under the arms of this layer and a tiny abrasion on right underarm. Bottom hidden button has been replaced.
