Chic 1970's caftan dress from the Taj Hotel in India! The Taj hotel was opened December 16, 1903 in Bombay India. The hotel continues in business and is now known as The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and is a 5 star hotel. This caftan was likely purchased in the hotel boutique. Done in the finest sheer hand block Indian silk in orange and pink. This literally is light as air! Construction looks like large silk scarves pieced together in a caftan silhouette with pointed open sleeves. Pullover style with v neckline. Unlined.
